It is very important to know not just the make and year of your jet ski, but the model also.
Above is what happens if you use a part for the correct make and year, but the wrong model of a jet ski.
For example, in 2009 Sea Doo made 20 different model jet skis, Yamaha 18, and Kawasaki 6 different models. THESE MODELS DO NOT USE ALL THE SAME PARTS!
If you don’t know the model of of your ski, check inside the hull, near the waterline for a tag that that has the ski’s model.
