To Check your oil:
- Starting with a cold engine- Start and run for 30 seconds to a minute and shut off
- Wait 30 seconds
- Check oil level. For 30 seconds you will get an accurate oil reading
NOTE: If the engine is cold and you check the oil and any oil is on the dip stick…..You have too much oil
