CORE REPLACEMENT FOR REMANUFATURED ENGINES
The Jet Ski Store has core replacements for ALL watercraft engines (Yamaha, SeaDoo, Kawasaki, Honda, Polaris, Tigershark) and can supply cases, head, cylinders, or a complete engine.
When you purchase a remanufactured or rebuilt engine from SBT, they require you to return to them a core motor in rebuildable condition (no holes or cracks). Their Core Program can be read in detail here .
A core motor is your old motor with all the parts that are included with the motor you are buying. There are 4 main parts of the engine that need to be provided:
the head – with no holes or cracks
the cases – with no holes or cracks
cylinders – these are hard to be rejected except in the case of some Sea Doos which have a ridge along the top of the cylinder. This ridge must be intact.
crank – must have the two ends useable. What is in between the two ends can be in any condition, even broken in two.
When your core is not in rebuildable condition, or parts are missing, we can supply one on your behalf.
